About PhysioPM

A more thoughtful approach to physiotherapy in Townsville

PhysioPM exists for people who feel stuck — people dealing with pain that has dragged on, injuries that have not followed the usual script, or repeated setbacks trying to get back to work, running, sport, or everyday life.

My approach

Care built for the problems that sit in the grey zone

I am interested in the problems that sit in the grey zone. The person whose pain has lasted longer than expected. The athlete whose injury keeps flaring up. The worker who is technically back, but not really coping. The person who has tried treatment before and still feels unclear on the problem.

That is where I do my best work.

My approach is built around detailed assessment, plain-English explanation, practical rehab, and ongoing support. The goal is not to hand you a generic sheet and hope for the best. It is to help you understand what seems to be driving the problem, what matters most right now, and how to move forward with more confidence.

Who I work best with

You are likely a good fit for PhysioPM if:

  • your pain has been hanging around longer than expected
  • your rehab has become confusing, repetitive, or frustrating
  • you are an active person trying to return to training, running, or sport without repeated setbacks
  • you want a clear plan rather than another short-term fix
  • you value a calmer, more thoughtful approach to care

Background & interests

A Townsville physio with a focus on persistent pain, complex injuries, and active people

I am a Townsville physiotherapist with a special interest in persistent pain, complex injuries, and helping active people get back to what matters.

My background and interests shape the way I work. I have spent years in gyms, around strength training, playing rugby, and providing on- and off-field care in AFL environments. That gives me a genuine understanding of loading, training identity, and the frustration that comes when pain or injury starts taking those things away.

It also means I am comfortable helping people bridge the gap between treatment and real life — not just symptom relief, but work, sport, running, lifting, and everyday confidence.
